Tuesday, November 10th at 10:30 AM: Parents, friends, relatives, community members, and especially veterans are invited to attend the Steptoe School Veterans Day Program.
Please plan on attending the Steptoe Veterans Day Program. It means so much to the veterans and students. The students have worked hard to celebrate our nation’s veterans and their service to our country. Quilts of Valor will be presented to our veterans. See you on Tuesday!
Students are asked to wear nice red, white, and blue attire for the performance.
In honoring our Veterans, we ask that you turn off your cellular devices, keep younger children quiet, show respect for the students who are performing and for guests that are in attendance.

After School Assistance has started. It is on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4pm. If you would like your child to stay after school for extra help, please contact me so that I know he or she will be staying.
The students need to be ready to go outside for recess. We will go outside for recess unless it is too wet. Please make sure your child has appropriate attire for outdoor recess.
Please remember to scan your receipts for Box Tops for Education. The school has already made a couple dollars just by people doing that. It very easy with the new app, all you need to do is scan your receipt and you are done.

It is Fair Time! If you would like to help out at the Colfax Little Guy Wrestling booth (formally the Steptoe Firemen’s Booth) to help fundraise for the DC/NY trip this spring, please see the attached schedule. All funds raised go to your child. Please email Mr. Baerlocher, coreyb@steptoe.k12.wa.us or me, ericp@steptoe.k12.wa.us. Thank you for helping out on this worthy cause.

Also, school will be getting out at 11:30 on September 11th for the fair. Have a great time at the fair and good luck to all the participants!

After School Assistance will start soon. It will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4pm. If you would like your child to stay after school for extra help, please contact me so that I know he or she will be staying.
The students need to be ready to go outside for recess. We will go outside for recess unless it is too wet. Please make sure your child has appropriate attire for outdoor recess.
Please remember to scan your receipts for Box Tops for Education. The school has already made a couple dollars just by people doing that. It very easy with the new app, all you need to do is scan your receipt and you are done.

The first day of school is August 25th and Open House will also be that morning from 8:00-9:00. We look forward to seeing all of the new and returning students and families.
